Once a year we giveaway medicinal plants to communities in New Mexico and Texas. Those include; Moringa trees, Mullein, Golden Seal, Rhodiola, Mint, Mugwort, Ashwagandha, Kalmegh, Golden Seal, Holy Basil and others. Please send a message if you'd like to attend to quetzalcoatltemple@gmail.com.
This year on the summer solstice, June 21, 2023, we celebrated with a whole day of cultural events, food and the plant giveaway. People learned to do the Mayan Magnetic Dance. There were talks on Limpias and Barridas. At lunch we served tacos. People walked up the hill and participated in a Medicine Wheel ceremony with us. At dawn we did be doing a prayer and ceremony with gratitude for Inti, the Sun. You are welcome to come to any or all of the events on the solstices.
You can donate to our efforts on the Botanical Garden page.
